Leeds Festival Day 2 arrived with a wave of excitement, as festival-goers were still buzzing from the electrifying performances of the previous day. The spirits were high, and the energy was contagious, as people danced and socialised their way through the festival grounds. Welcome to Leeds, the official festival media, took the opportunity to have a conversation with Alt Blk Era, who were experiencing Leeds for the first time. The band shared their excitement and anticipation for their upcoming performance, adding to the overall enthusiasm of the day.

But the day didn’t stop there. Welcome to Leeds also caught up with James from Yard Act, a band that had the privilege of playing not just one, but two shows on Day 2. James shared his thoughts on the festival atmosphere, expressing his gratitude for the enthusiastic crowd and the incredible energy that Leeds Fest brings year after year. The conversation left everyone even more excited for Yard Act’s upcoming performances.

As the sun began to set, the crowd gathered around the main stage, eagerly awaiting the performances of the evening. The atmosphere was electric, with people dressed in vibrant outfits that popped against the backdrop of the festival grounds. Beverages were on a regular refill routine, as festival-goers indulged in their favorite drinks to enhance their experience.

Loyle Carter, took the stage and instantly captivated the audience with his unique blend of rap and soul. His smooth lyrics and melodic beats resonated with the crowd, who sang along to every word. The energy continued to build as other artists took centre, including the one and only Sam Fender, delivering a powerful and emotional performance. His heartfelt lyrics and raw vocals touched the hearts of everyone present, creating a sense of unity and connection.

FOALS also did not disappoint. The band’s explosive energy and infectious melodies had the entire crowd on their feet, dancing and singing along to their biggest hits. The night sky was illuminated by the dazzling lights and pulsating rhythms, creating a mesmerizing spectacle that left everyone in awe.

And, of course, the one and only Yard Act took the stage for their much-anticipated performances. Their unique blend of post-punk and spoken word poetry electrified the crowd, who embraced their distinctive sound with open arms. James and the band members poured their hearts into every song, delivering a solid and unforgettable evening.

Throughout the night, the festival-goers were treated to a symphony of live music, singing along, and, of course, dancing. The performances of Day 2 did not disappoint in the slightest, leaving everyone in awe and making it a night to remember.
