LeedsFest Day 1: A Rockin’ Start to an Unforgettable Weekend!

The weather was great and Day 1 (Friday) was a perfect start to the weekend, as the sun beamed down on the ecstatic crowd, creating an atmosphere of pure bliss. Festival-goers were seen basking in the glorious weather, sipping on their refreshing beverages, and capturing unforgettable moments with selfies and reels. The highly anticipated artists of the day took the stage by storm, delivering electrifying performances that left the crowd in awe.
Hot Milk kicked off the day with their energetic pop-punk tunes, setting the tone for what was to come. The SNUTS followed suit, captivating the audience with their indie rock anthems that had everyone singing along. Becky Hill took the stage next, and her powerful vocals and infectious energy had the crowd jumping and dancing to her house and drum’n’bass mix. Declan McKenna showcased his unique blend of indie and pop, leaving a lasting impression with his thought-provoking lyrics and catchy melodies.
The excitement continued to build as Steve Lacy graced the stage, mesmerizing the audience with his soulful R&B sound. And then came the moment everyone had been waiting for - the youngest-ever headliner in Leeds Festival history, Billie Eilish. The anticipation was palpable as she stepped onto the stage, everybody excited to hear her sing.
